Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, in Iceland. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie has the distinction of being only one female in the history of sports to have won her place in the CrossFit Games two times. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir - from Iceland - a CrossFit weightlifter, media acclaim and CrossFit athlete - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first female to be awarded an award at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. In 2013, and in 2017, she took home her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at when she was a young age. In 2009 she competed as a participant in the very first CrossFit game in California. She performed good in those games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (as 2021). She is 5' 7 tall and her weight is roughly 67 kilograms. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She performed admirably in her first contests. She finished amongst one of the top 10 athletes from over 70. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to win any awards which was why she ended 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. Next year she took part in CrossFit Games and took home the gold medal thanks to her outstanding performances. She became the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won at the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first female athlete who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. And in 2021, she received the bronze. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's rising popularity as an athlete has led her to become the brand ambassador for many brand names in the field of sports, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Alongside this, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand subscribers where her training video clips, diet and travel videos are shared.
